Independent control of the instrument parameters ensures that the output power is kept stable over time and wavelength. In manufacturing applications, it can be integrated into a fuully-automated production test environment for precise, fast, and repeatable testing. In a manual setup, single or dual channel passive component measurements can be performed using the built-in application and an Agilent 8153A lightwave multimeter.
