The MetroFlex G2 Series Tunable Optical Transmitter is the only tunable transmitter series designed for Access, Metro and Regional networks, delivering wide tuning in a small, highly reliable, 2" x 2.89" package. MetroFlex G2 incorporates Bandwidth9's low-cost VCSEL-based tunable laser and wavelength locking technology all within a single integrated package.
The MetroFlex G2 offers continuous tuning over 40 50-GHz spaced ITU channels, modulation at data rates from OC-3 through OC-48, greater than 1 mW (0 dBm) modulated output power, dark tuning and a simple RS-232 interface.
